Grand Cherokee Wj Owners Manual
Hi all, good to find a site that demonstrates some enthusiasm for the marque. I'm having difficulty finding a workshop manual, I like to do my own maitenance and repairs, as my 2002 Grand Cherokee 'WJ' (or should that be 'WG' as its probably classed as an export model?) has the tiny little, compared to U.S. Versions, 2.7 litre 5 cylinder diesel engine. The Haynes manuals that are obtainable in U.K. Are described as '. Intended for petrol engine cars (except where diesel is specifically mentioned) built to US specifications.'

Has anybody found a manual that covers the diesel engined version, or is the ' Haynes for U.S. Built petrol-engined version' O.K. For everything except the engine work? It is a bit disjointed and I found it best to combine all the 'pdf' files in each section into one bloody great big one (105MB for the '00 version) and then use search to find what you want.
One snag, the '00 version doesn't cover the 2.7 litre Merc diesel engine, but it does do the earlier 3.1 litre in considerable detail. The '02 version does, however cover the 2.7 litre engine, but only in diagnostic terms, not maintenance, whilst the '03, '04, '05 does cover maintenance (including the '02 version) but not engine rebuilds, and the combined pdf is even bigger (213MB). I found the '00 version very useful when changing the front disks (sorry - 'rotors', said with a Yankee accent!?).
